Since July 2007, consultancy on aspects of methodology and statistics for the Clínic Hospital of Barcelona’s institutes and services has been provided by the Statistics and Methodology Support Unit (USEM), affiliated to the Clinical Pharmacology Service (UASP).

The Data Manager is responsible for data management and provides technical expertise in relation to the design, implementation, maintenance, security and sending of information resulting from data exploitation.

The data-processing centre is where all the resources needed to process the information generated by the organisation are housed. It is also known as the computer centre. These resources essentially consist of appropriate facilities, computers and communication networks.
